| The most interesting feature about this page is the presence of Dick Sisler's autograph. Sisler, beloved by Phillies fans for his pennant winning home run for the "Whiz Kids" in 1950, was only 18 in 1939 and wouldn't break into the bigs with the Cardinals until the mid-40s. Apparently, his presence in Spring Training that year was a favor to his father, Hall of Famer George Sisler, a former Cardinal himself. | |||||||||||||
